Sales Manager (m/f/d) Nordics 

Nordic Region - Fulltime

Duties & Responsibilities.

  • Sales & Marketing responsibility for Torqeedo products
  • Drives introduction and development of the Torqeedo business and Dealer network in the nordic Region
  • Region: Sweden, Norway, Denmark

Your tasks

  • Meet and exceed Torqeedo Nordics retail sales objectives and longer term business development goals
  • Support & Manage Torqeedo Dealers:
    • Regular dealer visits
    • Negotiate annual wholesale goals, retail sales goals, purchase planning and product stocking goals
    • Support dealers in their retail activation planning
    • Explain and educate dealers on Torqeedo products, catalogue and pricing
    • Troubleshooting in case of issues with standard processes through our sales support
  • Develop dealer network for Torqeedo according to Torqeedo dealer criteria. Ensure proper brand standards are met and appropriate levels of Torqeedo product presence is maintained within dealer showrooms and facilities
  • Marketing activities in the region including boat shows, customer events, advertisements, blogs, web page, use cases, brochures, product placement, etc.
  • Close cooperation with the various specialist departments in the headquarters (product management, marketing, after sales, etc.) in day-to-day operations
  • Cost controlling within the annual budget
  • Bi-weekly reporting of sales activities in the regional sales call
  • Annual reporting of regional sales & marketing achievements and planning for the next fiscal year
  • Constant update of dealer list and (when available) CRM customer data
  • Project Management through Salesforce CRM tool

Your profile

  • Strong sales background in two-stage distribution; preferably in the marine or other similar leisure industry
  • 5+ years field sales and retail sales experience with proven track record required. Proven track record of launching new products and developing marketing strategies
  • Knowledge of business administration
  • Technical experience in the marine industry desirable
  • Willingness to travel for business (50%)
  • Boating experience
  • Good presentation skills
  • Languages: English, regional language(s), German desirable, additional languages desirable
