Sales & Business Development Manager Retail Network (m/w/d)

Site Wessling Germany- Headquarters or remote

Your tasks

  • You will systematically and strategically develop sales, service and brand awareness of our business unit "branded retail" within the responsible region. Therefore you will identify the right market strategy for each country incl. its roll-out. 
  • You will manage the implemented partner network (sales & service) and support our local representatives in their business models incl. interdisciplinary coordination with other departments to ensure smooth daily business support
  • You are managing and developing a business plan and are able to forecast mid- and long-term for your responsible region. You can identify and implement profitable growth strategies for your responsible region, thinking in opportunities
  • Your are representing the brand Torqeedo in your responsible region, incl. ability to travel to partners, to local shows and fairs so that you are developing a local network of leads and interesting contacts 
  • You are the voice-of-the-market into the headquarter incl. the ability for product-, customer- and market feedback 

Your profile

  • Studies or related in business or technical and relevant professional activities in the distribution of an industrial company in retail sales or the boating industry
  • Experience in Sales or Business Development; Enthusiasm for the maritime industry, ideally by professional experience or boating as a hobby
  • Very good knowledge in the conception, design and implementation of sales strategies and processes
  • Negotiating skills, open personality, and joy in dealing with people
  • Very good presentation and communication skills at all levels
  • Fluent in local language: business English or business German as second language required
  • Willingness to travel up to 25- 50% depending on season
